Pursuing new territory for our Vacuum Fluorescent Display.

The Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) offers the benefits of a self-emitting device including a high level of visibility, and clearly defines graphics and characters. We took the lead internationally in developing this superior display device, which contributed to the spread of electronic calculators as a revolutionary numeric display device. VFDs have enriched our lives with use in home electronic products such as microwave ovens and video decks for a long period of time. Currently, VFDs for brightness gradation displays and multicolor displays are used in cash registers, vending machines, and amusement devices. We will continue to apply our frontier spirit to the development of products using our unique technologies such as thick film printing and vacuum technology, thus, giving birth to displays which are closer to our lives.
