?? Noritake’s liquid gold is rich in variety of types ranging from bright to matte types. This enables you to select from among different types of liquid gold to suit the taste and image of the product. With Noritake’s liquid gold, you can achieve the best of finish images on porcelain as well as on glassware and enamelware.

For soda glass use
Noritake’s liquid gold and gold paste for glass provide an effective finish to glassware and enhance its value, simultaneously providing excellent durability characteristics. The paste can be delivered with its tone adjusted by Noritake.

Other remarks
The firing temperature and adhesive properties change with the composition of the glass used. This requires thorough checking. When you designate the body you will use, Noritake will recommend the best-suited type for that body. Depending on the firing atmosphere, tarnishing may occur on the surface, which can be brightened by washing with water.

For microwavable porcelain use
Noritake’s liquid gold for microwavable porcelain has an excellent characteristic that allows porcelain to be used in microwave ovens. It provides the same chemical durability as conventional liquid gold. However,characteristics may change depending on the coating density, firing temperature, and type of porcelain; consult Noritake for details.

For porcelain use

Various types of liquid gold are available in Noritake’s line-up of products covering the range from bright to matte finish porcelain.
Noritake’s liquid gold provides an effective finish to porcelain, enhancing its value, and simultaneously providesexcellent durability characteristics. The tone of the type of liquid gold can be adjusted freely; Noritake will make tonal adjustments as specified by the customer.
Firing temperature
Regular porcelain body:750°C to850°C
Soft glazed porcelain body:680°C to 850°C
Other remarks
Depending on the composition of the porcelain body (glaze), the firing temperature may vary or coloring adhesive properties may be adversely affected. In such cases, if you provide Noritake with the body you will use, Noritake will test it and recommend for you the best type of fit.

Various types of gold/platinum pastes are available in Noritake’s line-up of products covering the range from bright to matte finish transfer-paper.
Noritake’s gold/platinum pastes provides an effective finish to porcelain, enhancing its value, and simultaneously providing excellent durability characteristics.
• Gold liquid/pastes for high-temperature firing
Noritake’s gold liquid/pastes for high-temperature firing exhibit a quality gold color at high firing temperatures above 1100°C and a durability characteristic more than 10 times that of overglaze liquid/pastes. When you use Noritake’s inglaze decorative pigments, simultaneous firing on pigments is made possible. This type of decorative pigment is very sensitive to the type of porcelain and firing temperature used; upon customer request, Noritake will make adjustments so that the customer’s requirements are met.
