| Materials for decalcomania paper that provide
stable quality are made available. |
 |
Noritake’s
materials for decoration have been realized through its search
for accurate reproducibility. These materials contribute to the
production of high-quality decalcomania paper compatible with
porcelain as well as a variety of materials including enamel,
glass, and resin; they contribute also to creating a fresh image
value. |

Ensuring uniform temperature distribution in
different parts of the firing chamber and the heat-setting effect
is most essential to the firing process. To measure the heating
effect in various parts simply and correctly, it is best to
use the degree of transformation of a small chip when melting.
This method uses the degree of transformation to determine the
heating effect based on temperature and time. Six types of chip
are available to cover a temperature range from a lower end
of 750°C and a higher end of 1,400°C.

Printing oils used for screen-printing
transfer-paper on porcelain and glass. Two type of base materials
are available for printing oils: cellulose resin and acrylic resin.
Cellulose resin-based materials
Excellent in printing suitability such as parting and leveling
as well as drying characteristics.
Acrylic resin-based materials
Excellent in viscosity in transfer pasting and after-transfer
firing characteristics; withstands quick firing.

Cover coats for making transfer-paper
for porcelain and glass. With the film being very flexible after
print drying, acrylic resin is easy to stick on a curved surface.
Paper-interlaying is necessary. Select from among the following
product to meet your requirements.

| The following thinning and cleaning
agents are available: thinning solvents for printing oils, solvents
for plate cleaning after screen printing, cover coat softening
agents for easy transfer-paper sticking, coating agents for prevention
of transfer frizzing, solvents for mixing with colors for color-lining
or banding, and cleaning agents for after-transfer cleaning to
wipe out extra glue. |
