At the Welcome Center, visitors can watcha video(approx. 7 minutes long) to learn more about the history and business of Noritake. Moreover, there is a History Table where visitors can enjoy learning about Noritake history through panels and video footage, a Technology Corner which introduces Noritake's technology and products which are today utilized in a wide variety of industries, and more.
Craft Center and Noritake Museum
Do you know how bone china is made?
The Craft Center is a production factory that manufactures bone china.
Visitors can get an up-close view of Noritake’s craftsmanship and traditions throughout each process from production of bone china clay to decorations.
In addition, the Noritake Museum located on the 3rd and 4th floor displays exquisite vases and decorative plates made in the Meiji era as well as Western tableware created from the Taisho to early Showa eras.
Noritake Garden Gallery
The Noritake Garden Gallery is a space for all to immerse in and enjoy various works of art including pottery, paintings and sculptures. The gallery offers a place for both established artists’ solo exhibitions and citizens’ art exhibitions. Here, the public can easily become involved and discover the beauty of art.
Rest in the Forest
Noritake Garden is landscaped with trees, greenery and flowers that showcase contrasting sceneries in each season. An open space perfect for spending a relaxing time either by taking a long stroll or resting on a bench offers the opportunity to take in the surrounding nature whilst in the city.
